Labbayk ("we", "our", or "us") is a Hajj and Umrah guidance application developed by INAWebtech, Germany. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Labbayk mobile app and related services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
- Profile Information: Country of origin, journey type (Hajj/Umrah), group type, and family member details you voluntarily provide.
- Trip Data: Journey plans, checklists, and notes you create within the app.
- Location Data: Approximate location used solely to calculate accurate prayer times. We do not store or share your precise location.
- Device Information: Device type and OS version for app compatibility.
- Usage Data: Features used within the app to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalise your Hajj and Umrah journey guidance.
- To calculate and display accurate prayer times based on your location.
- To save your trip plans, checklists, and spiritual content preferences.
- To send important notifications about your journey or app updates.
- To improve app features and fix technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations under German and EU law.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not access your camera, microphone, or media files.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing to third parties.
- We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers in Germany, in compliance with EU/GDPR data protection standards. We use HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or transfer your personal information to third parties except:
- Prayer Times Service: We use the Aladhan API (aladhan.com) — only your city and country are sent, never your identity.
- Legal Requirements: If required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict processing of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymous usage statistics may be retained for up to 12 months.
8. Children's Privacy
Labbayk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The Labbayk mobile app does not use cookies or any third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. No advertising identifiers are collected or used.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
